New Website, Updated

I've been working hard on updating the Rendezvouz Photography website.

Specifically, I wanted to include an image gallery, but a very nice one. Another idea I've had for some time was to create a Flash movie with images.

I found a workable demonstration Flash video creation software platform, and started to work on the project. Their help & tutorials were not very user-friendly, but I finally figured it out.

I'm pretty happy with the results - a few tweaks, for sure, and a shorter song, but so far so good.

Check it out!

New website

Rendezvouz Photography now has a real website. It can be found at http://www.rendezvouzphotography.com.

It's still a work in progress - a lot of work! Come give us a visit.

A few weekends ago, we spent some time with Hildas friend and her children. Here is a shot of her newborn daughter, converted to black and white (with her eyes the natural blue), and in color.

Julies' Family

This past weekend I had the opportunity to capture portraits of Julie and her family. Julie works with Hilda and that weekend was the one where all her children would be together.

One of the Emergency Room Nurses recently retired after 26 YEARS of working at the hospital. Her sons gathered to help her celebrate. Thanks to a former co-worker of mine, I was hired to capture some family portraits...

Smith Family

A couple of years ago, when my co-worker and probably my best friend, Matt, got his Paramedic certification, I promised him a family portrait. For several reasons, this hasn't happened until now.
Amidst the rain & snow, I met his family at one of our local parks and took a few minutes to capture some images.

I spent the past few days visiting with some old friends while attending a Paramedic course in Portland. Steve & Shay are cat folks, and I took the opportunity to capture their 'kids'...

Gremlin?

Another shot from the Training Burn. I was going through all the photos today, preparing them to send them off to the participating fire departments, when I noticed one of the images in particular. Here's the detail. It has not been Photoshopped in any way other than cropping.
